Roller blinds are the most versatile of the window dressing family. They can be used in almost any setting either as decorative or functional, many different type of fabrics that include Blackout, Dim out, PVC wipeable and even the more the more technically advanced UV filter roller blind
Blackout blinds give the optimal protection from direct sunlight, ideal for bedrooms as it will it block up to 85% of direct sunlight coming into the room. With standard blackout blinds there will always be light leakage on the sides due to the blind controls. To overcome this if necessary, almost full blackout can be achieved by either installing blinds to the outside of the reveal which may not suit in some circumstances, the other option would be to go 100% blackout which is achieved by using a fully cassetted and tracked blackout blindÂ
